What a great week for weather - ALMOST !
Practice is a week later than "usual" this year, so I hope that the two weeks including the bank holiday haven't burnt out the good weather quota. In fact, as I write this it's Saturday, big race day, and the rain is falling heavily and the wind is almost a gale.
Last night saw Cameron Donald come off at Keppel Gate and dislocate his shoulder, possibly rendering him hors de combat for the race week. It is said that he may participate later in the programme but fastest-ever-in-practice man who broke the outright lap record, will not be contesting the Superbike class, not today or Monday to which date the Superbike has been re-scheduled.
Well, I arrived on the stroke of midnight last Saturday on the Mannanan and I can't remember a TT Practice week flying past so quickly. Perhaps it's because I take longer to get to places ?
On Sunday I was able to get my passes and bib, thanks to Simon Crellin, and I set about finding people I know. I begin taking photographs with my 3D set up and my normal cameras.
