THE MIDDLE WEEKEND

The good weather continues
Pics taken 7am Sunday morning
It is the first day of JUNE !

You can see the webcam weather conditions before going out to the races if you wish

The webcam in my room tells the story of a good old Saturday night
drinking the health of Cameron and Bruce in RELENTLESS Green

The crowds have arrived and we have a full weekend ahead of us.

Today we have a variety of events to keep us entertained.

By tradition Sunday is Mad (Nad) Sunday but while many of you will be blatting around the course, burning petrol and tyres, some of us will be attending Pat Slinns Service at the Grandstand (from 9am) and/or the Biker Service at Sulby Church (from 11am) where we will be remembering Martin Finnegan and Robert Dunlop who both died in Irish races just prior to the TT...

See link to "SERVICES" below

Following the church service and a chat with Rosie at the Sulby Glen Hotel, i set off back to Douglas but still had to go the pretty route via Peel, Once back in Douglas I ended up in the Hilton where I had my usual liquid lunch and downloaded the pics I had taken AM..

I walked the promenade and chatted to all and sundry and paid my respects to Steve Hislops statue up at Onchan.

I met Mr and Mrs Stokes who on the 1st of June are celebrating their 23rd Wedding Anniversary.

I gave them my table booking in the window and the staff of the Hilton looked after them.

After Dinner I drove down to Bushys and took some pics of the ugly lot waiting to see the show.
