So much to do today what with the Ramsey Sprint, the Douglas Beach Races and a variety of Owners Clubs Rallies at such places as Laxey, Port St. Mary and Crosby. Don't say "There's nothing to do !".

I had a run round but was frustrated by the fact that an accident has blocked off the course near Ballaugh so rather than detour I returned to Douglas and managed to change my ferry ticket from Heysham to Liverpool with rather unexpected ease I might add.

Okells ales drew me to the Hilton but before I got to the bar, I was able to sit in with SUZUKI GB who were having a meeting about the GSXR Series and, separately, Suzuki accessories and add-ons. The panel consisted of a number of Japanese, one of whom was "the father of the Hyabusa", and a few local reps and dealers.
Facing them were a group of GSXR owners who discussed the many pros and one or two cons, and then they put forward a number of recommendations....

It was a most constructive meeting which brought out that once a dealer has sold a bike he sits back in relief, and fails to promote the accessories.
