TT 2010 - Friday 04th June- Day 07 - Practice week nearly over...just one more big practice tonight.
After breakfast I set out for a full lap of the course but heard on Manx Radio that the Mountain Section is closed. So I decided I would stop carefully at my favourite vantage spots and take some photos in 2D and also in 3D.
I got to Ramsey then turned off to come back to Douglas on the coast road through Laxey. I stop to say hello to old friends one of whom (from Duisburg, Germany) is celebrating his 29th year at the TT !!.....Arrived back in Douglas for lunch at the Hilton
I find that the holes-in-the-wall I usually use are out of order so the "card" gets another bashing. Lovely lunch: Smoked Salmon in Focaccio Bread plus a glass of wine (Pinot Grigio)and a glass of water.
At 9pm I receive a phone call from BIKERFM.....Paul is checking to see I am available and five minutes later I am on LIVE chatting about the "First Week of TT 2010"....I enjoyed that, thanks Paul. He ends the call, playing Jump by van Halen for me
I end up in bed, listening to late night Manx Radio + MR and send Bernie Quayle a greetings e-mail to which he responds very favourably. Thanks Bernie..
